My little night owl tends to go stir crazy at home in the evenings. Evening time is trundle time, so tonight we rolled with it and went out to enjoy the amazing Indian Summer. We took a long stroll through Hoyt Arboretum in the west hills of Portland. The ‘highlights were  the “baby pine cones”, and the “nature potty”, which she insisted on using, to the amusement of other passers by. Is there any social rule against letting your toddler pee in a public stump? I just hope some squirrel didn’t get a rude awakening.
